UFC Welterweight Matt Riddle has been very busy these past few months and he'll get a chance to keep busy if a planned February bout against Che Mills at UFC on Fuel TV 7 in London goes forward as scheduled.
"Deep Waters has been very active in the second half of 2012, and he'll be staying active as he's expected to battle British bomber Che Mills on the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 7 event in London early next year (Feb. 16, 2012).
A former contestant of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season seven, Riddle is one of the only fighters who has spent his entire professional fighting career inside the Octagon, competing 11 times over the course of his four and a half year stint with the promotion.
Riddle is most recently coming off a unanimous decision victory over another Brit, John Maguire at UFC 154 just over a week ago. Before that, he defeated Chris Clements via second round submission only to have the result struck from the record following a positive test for marijuana metabolites, which resulted in a short suspension.
Che Mills has gone 2-1 in his UFC stint thus far, crushing Chris Cope in just 40 seconds before crashing back to Earth after receiving a two round beatdown via Rory MacDonald. "Beautiful" got back on track in his last bout, battering Duane Ludwig before "Bang" succumbed to a first round injury this past September.
What do you think of this showdown, Maniacs? Will there be anarchy in the UK?
