No, Jon Jones does not live in the kind of house that needs Ty Pennington and his hammer.
Instead, the reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion is making an appearance on the popular home improvement show as a representative of the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, which gave the Restoration House project for single moms a donation of $15,000.
"I feel absolutely phenomenal about helping Daniel (from Restoration House) help these single moms. I'm sure they're going through a lot, not knowing where their food is coming from or how they're gonna provide for their children. It's a great feeling, better than winning any championship."
It's nice to see Jones get some positive publicity after his law-breaking shenanigans earlier this year. In addition, prime time exposure on ABC will go a long way in reaching audiences not regularly tuning into FOX.
