Dan Hardy says if he absolutely had to pick an opponent for his next outing, he wouldn't mind going toe-to-toe against Josh Koscheck after the two coach the next wave of aspiring mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).
"I don't' really mind. I'm open to the UFC's suggestions. There's a lot of talent in the division and so many good guys coming up and obviously guys that have been at the top. And maybe some that are not right near at the top at the moment. So, I'm open, there's a lot of good fights, a lot of fun fights. Maybe Koscheck on The Ultimate Fighter would be my pick if I had to choose. But, we'll see, we'll see."
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Dan Hardy seems to have turned things around, winning two consecutive bouts inside the Octagon over Amir Sadollah and Duane Ludwig after suffering four straight defeats. The British banger isn't one to call anyone out, however, when pressed for an answer during a UFC on Fuel TV interview, "The Outlaw" said he wouldn't mind facing off against former number one contender, Josh Koscheck. Not only that, he would like to do it after the two face off as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). "Kos" hasn't seen action since losing a split decision to Johny Hendricks back at UFC on FOX 3 earlier this year in New Jersey and a bout against Nick Diaz is highly unlikely, given the Stockton slugger's drug suspension. Hardy vs. Koscheck, anyone?
