Watch video of Johny Hendricks absolutely planting Martin Kampmann in the co-main event of UFC 154: "St. Pierre vs. Condit" last night (Sat., Nov. 17, 2012) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
How long does it take to earn "Knockout of the Night," good for $70,000, and number one contender status in the welterweight division?
If you're Johny Hendricks, it takes you just 46 seconds.
At least it did last night (Sat., Nov. 17, 2012) in the co-main event of UFC 154: "St. Pierre vs. Condit" at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, when "Big Rig" used what's fast becoming his trademark left hook to absolutely obliterate Martin Kampmann's face and firmly establish himself as the next rightful challenger to Georges St. Pierre's 170-pound championship.
And he's willing to wait as long as it takes to get that shot, too.
Who knows when that will be but what we know for sure is that Hendricks has sickening power in his fists. If we didn't know that after his blasting of Jon Fitch last year, we certainly know it now.
