Carlos Condit talks to FUEL TV after his loss to Georges St. Pierre in the main event of UFC 154 last night (Nov. 17, 2012) in Montreal. He's disappointed and knows he's got some improving to do before trucking right along.
"Little bit disappointed. I would have liked a different outcome but I left it all in there. There's definitely some improvements to be made but I was glad I was able to get in there and put on a good fight.
"Definitely (I leave the cage with my head held high). Like I said, I would have liked a different outcome but I left it all in the cage and I fought to the best of my ability. So that's all I can do.
"Georges is one of the best guys that has ever got inside the Octagon. He showed why tonight. I definitely, I mean I had the edge in some aspects but the wrestling and the top game, he edged me out. His top game, he was able to really, really control me on the ground. His strength, you know, he's just methodical (with) his top game, basically.
"I don't know (where I go from here). Obviously I have some improvement to be made but this is the kind of fight you learn from. We'll just reevaluate, see what UFC has in store for me, hopefully get out there and continue to entertain."
