MMA Fighting photographer, Esther Lin, was on the scene at New City Gas in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, earlier today (Nov. 15, 2012) to shoot all of the participating fighters for the UFC 154: "St. Pierre vs. Condit" open media workouts.
Multiple main card fighters put their skills on display, although some had more fun than others. No one was more entertaining than Tom Lawlor, who showcased his sumo fighting skills, something he'll likely have to keep handy for his upcoming opponent Francis Carmont.
Both co-main event fighters Martin Kampmann and Johny Hendricks kept things simple, putting on a striking display with their trainers. They'll need to be sharp if they want to earn that number one welterweight contender position.
Lastly, UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre put on a solid display of thumb-wrestling for the fans, not wanting to give opponent Carlos Condit or his coaches too much of a glimpse of what he's capable of athletically with his surgically repaired knee.
St. Pierre and Condit will be battling in the main event to unify the UFC Welterweight Championship with the interim welterweight strap on Saturday night (Nov. 17). It'll be St. Pierre's first time back into the Octagon since an April 2011 tilt against Jake Shields in Toronto.
