The list of medical suspensions and injuries has been released for those fighters competing at the UFC: "Macao" event this past weekend in China. Take a look at who's riding the pine for the next few months to lick their wounds.

The list of medical suspensions and injuries has been released today (Nov. 15, 2012) for those fighters competing at the UFC on FUEL TV 6: "Macao" event this past weekend (Nov. 10), which took place at the CotaiArena in the People's Republic of China.

And not everyone escaped the landmark event unharmed.

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin, who did an Ace-plant after Cung Le put him to sleep with a one-hitter quitter, needs to have his thumb looked at before he can return to action. Yes, Franklin was popped and dropped with a huge haymaker, but can't compete until he heals the boo-boo on his hitchhiker.

It could be up to six months.

The man who did the damage, Le, is also riding the pine until he snaps some black-and-whites of his right wing. Even if he passes with flying colors, the Sanshou striker is benched for a minimum of 30 days for precautionary reasons, as is Takanori Gomi, Stanislav Nedkov and Paulo Thiago.

That's not all.

Below is a list of the UFC: "Macao" medical suspensions and injuries courtesy of MMA.tv:

Tom DeBlass: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.

Yasuhiro Urushitani: Suspended 45 days (30 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.

Motonobu Tezuka: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.

Jeff Hougland: Suspended 60 days (45 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.

Mac Danzig: Suspended 180 days pending negative X-ray of left thumb and left elbow. Minimum suspension 30 days (21 days no contact).

Takanori Gomi: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.

Paulo Thiago: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.

Stanislav Nedkov: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.

Thiago Silva: Suspended 180 days pending negative X-ray of right hand. Minimum suspension 30 days (21 days no contact).

Cung Le: Suspended 180 days pending negative X-ray of right elbow. Minimum suspension 30 days (21 days no contact).

Rich Franklin: Suspended 180 days or orthopedic clearance of left thumb. Minimum suspension 45 days (30 days no contact).

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much sooner once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases.
