Joe Camporeale-US PRESSWIRE
A knee injury has forced former two-time UFC lightweight title challenger Gray Maynard out of his upcoming UFC 155 fight against Joe Lauzon. In his place steps short notice hero Jim Miller.
What, did you actually think Shane Carwin would be the only upcoming fighter to get injured?
At this point, you almost have to expect a major fight to fall apart just weeks out. The much-anticipated lightweight match-up between The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season five castmates Gray Maynard and Joe Lauzon has been scrapped following a knee injury to "The Bully."
In place of Maynard will be a New Jersey fighter who's always willing to step up when Ultimate Fighting Championship needs him, Jim Miller. Word of the fight alteration came by way of the UFC's twitter account:
PLUS Gray Maynard injured, out of Lauzon fight at UFC 155 - Jim Miller stepping in to take his place.

Maynard had previously been coming off a five round decision victory against Clay Guida in the main event of UFC on FX 4 and was looking to get back into title contention now that Frankie Edgar is out of the picture.
Instead, in steps Miller, who has not competed since a second round submission loss at the hands of Nate Diaz earlier this past May in the main event of UFC on Fox 3, the only time in his career he'd ever been finished. Prior to the Diaz loss, Miller had won eight out of nine bouts.
So what's your take, Maniacs?
Do you like this Miller vs. Lauzon fight better than the original match-up. Who's your favorite heading in?
