The UFC wasn't the only game in town this past weekend, as mixed martial arts was to be had all across the United States. Let's wrap it all up.
Although the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to FX this past Friday night (Oct. 5, 2012) they weren't the only game in town this past weekend.
In fact, it was one of the busiest combat sports weekends in recent memory.
Women's MMA league Invicta FC returned for its third event, featuring the crowning of its first ever atomweight champion. Bellator was back on MTV2 with a heavyweight grudge match between two guys who just can't stop kicking each other in the nuts.
Classic Sports and Entertainment (CES) held a pay-per-view (PPV) event featuring the professional fight debut of Dave Bautista, better known as former pro wrestler Batista. Oh and ONE FC held its sixth event, featuring a nasty knockout from Melvin Manhoef and another dominant performance from Shinya Aoki.
Did I mention Glory 2 Brussels and the return of kickboxing legend Remy Bonjasky? Yeah, that too.
Let's wrap it all up.
