Travis Browne 'not intimidated' by Bigfoot Silva after intense staredown at UFC on FX 5 weigh ins

Bigfoot Silva tried to get inside Travis Browne's head, literally, when he got all up in "Hapa's" grill during yesterday's face off at the UFC on FX 5 weigh ins. We'll see if it worked when they square off later tonight.

"I squared up to do my normal face off. He got a little close and wanted to keep an eyeball on me. I am not going to back down. I am going to show him that right from the get go. It's like you are in sixth grade again. I think it just got to a point where he is not going to intimidate me in that way. Nobody can, nobody will and I wanted to show him that. I need to go out there and dominate. There is no doubt about it. Stefan Struve has been on a tear lately and I was his last defeat. People are going to be looking at me and thinking where they are going to place me. I need to go out there and show people I belong. I feel like I am going to have to do that my entire career whether I am a contender or champion. That is the mentality I want, always."

Antonio Silva got a little too close for comfort at yesterday's UFC on FX 5 weigh ins (see it here) but that didn't do much to rattle his opponent, Travis Browne, as they gear up for a heavyweight main event tonight (Oct. 5, 2012) at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. "Hapa" is still undefeated and hopes to get himself into the 265-pound title hunt by stomping on "Bigfoot" in the "Land of 10,000 Lakes." Anyone think his cool, calm and collected demeanor is an accurate reflection of his confidence heading into this evening's slugfest? Or has the Brazilian managed to get inside his head?
