UFC on FX 5 main eventers, Travis Browne and Bigfoot Silva, go nose-to-nose
UFC on FX 5 is now less than 24 hours away. Today, the two massive men who will headline the card, Travis Browne and Antonio Silva -- and the rest of the fight field -- came face-to-face one last time before throwing leather at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn., on Fri., Oct. 5, 2012.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was on the scene at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn., for the final promotional push for UFC on FX 5: "Browne vs. Bigfoot," which will go down tomorrow (Oct. 5, 2012) from the same site and location as today's official weigh in.
Undefeated Travis Browne, who is eager to get himself into the Heavyweight title hunt, will headline "Browne vs. Bigfoot" opposite Strikeforce import, Antonio Silva, who is out to snap a two-fight losing skid and score his first win inside the Octagon.
The bigger they are, the harder (and faster) they fall.
Elsewhere on the main card, Jake Ellenberger will attempt to re-establish himself as a Welterweight contender at the expense of Jay Hieron, while The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 winner John Dodson will mix it up with Jussier da Silva with a Flyweight title shot on the line.
In addition to the Travis Browne vs. Antonio Silva face off pic above, check out how it looked when the two co-main event fighters, Jake Ellenberger vs. Jay Hieron, went nose-to-nose in the "North Star State:"
