Alex Caceres awaits word from the UFC to see if he will get a new opponent for the upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 6 event in China as his opponent, Kyung Ho Kang, has suffered an injury in training which has forced him off the fight.

The injury bug has bitten once again.

This time, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) newcomer, Kyung Ho Kang, has fallen victim to a training-related injury that will unfortunately force him off the UFC on Fuel TV 6 event, which is scheduled for Nov. 10, 2012.

Kang was all set to make his promotional debut opposite Alex Caceres in the bantamweight division after competing for Road FC for the majority of his mixed martial arts (MMA) career, but his move up to the big leagues will be delayed according to Fighters Only:

"It was my own carelessness. It's so bad. This was such a big opportunity that I have been working really hard, sparring very hard, there were a lot of expectations and I had so many family and friends who bought tickets to fly to Macau. It's hard for me to express in words about this situation... it's so bad. I've missed the chance to debut in Macau now but it will only make me work harder and more determined to recover. I want to make a stunning fight maybe in the United States next year, February or March maybe."

For now, the charismatic "Bruce Leroy" patiently awaits a new opponent and the UFC will be pressed for time in finding a suitable replacement, seeing as how the event is only 10 days away.

The event, which will go down at Cotai Arena in Cotai Strip, Macau, China, will feature a middleweight clash between former 185-pound champion Rich Franklin as he takes on standup specialist, Cung Le.

As always, stay tuned to MMAmania.com as word for Kang's replacement comes in.
