BJ Penn is a once in a lifetime fighter and a TRUE "anytime, anywhere" fighter. He is such a bad ass. Im a HUGE fan of Anderson Silva but all of these politics and all of these excuses of why fighters wont fight other fighters are getting ridiculous. GSP thinks AS is too big. AS and Jones are "friends" and Jones is too big. Hell im sure that if enough people brought up the idea of Jon Jones vs JDS that JDS being too big would keep that fight from happening. BJ Penn doesnt care how big the other fighter is or how great he is. He is the type of fighter that was/is ALWAYS trying to prove how good of a fighter he is. GSP/BJ 1, I personally thought it was a close close decision in BJ's favor but im not going to argue with the decision. GSP/BJ 2, BJ got destroyed but i guarantee you that if you ask Penn right now if he would fight GSP again he would do it in a heartbeat. Do i need even need to bring up the fact that he fought Machida at LHW to prove my point? Too end my rambling, I feel honored to have been around and to have been able to watch BJ Penn grow as a fighter through out his career. Truely one of the P4P best of all time.
