A selection of top UFC fighters were on hand yesterday in Minneapolis to hit the mitts and show off their jits. Pictures include Travis Browne, Antonio Silva, Jake Ellenberger, Jay Hieron, Jussier Formiga and Marcus LeVesseur.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) shutterbug extraordinaire, Josh Hedges, was on the scene in Minneapolis yesterday to shoot several of the notable fighters who will compete on the UFC on FX 5: "Browne vs. Bigfoot" televised card this Friday night (Oct. 5, 2012) for the event's open media workouts.
Naturally, the two men who will collide in the main event of the evening, Travis Browne vs. Antonio Silva, were strutting their stuff to promote their heavyweight hoedown, which could go a long way in establishing the next contender in the 265-pound weight class.
UFC welterweight Jake Ellenberger will co-headline the network television event and was in attendance with fellow division stalwart Jay Hieron, as both men worked up one of the last few real sweats prior to their 170-pound clash in "The Land of 10,000 Lakes."
