"He's relentless. Pressure. He's always going to be on you. He's a smart guy. It's that pressure, that pressure he comes to the table with. If the Chael Sonnen shows up that is relentless, it makes it a much harder fight. If it's the Chael Sonnen that has shown up in a few other fights we've watched, it could be an easy fight. It just depends which Chael Sonnen shows up. How aggressive, how strong he is."
Which Chael Sonnen will show up against Jon Jones come April 2013? That is the question one of "Bones'" trainers, Mike Winkeljohn, brought to light on his recent appearance on Sherdog Radio. "The American Gangster," who laid out a blueprint on how to get past the length and craftiness of Anderson Silva's strikes at UFC 117---by putting non-stop pressure on "The Spider" -- will likely look to do the same against Jones come fight night. Winkeljohn is well aware of the kind of heat Chael is capable of bringing, which could lead to a ‘harder' fight, yet he also feels that should Sonnen come in less than stellar as he has seen in other performances, the fight could prove to be a fairly "easy" affair. The eyebrow-raising match up between Sonnen and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion, Jones, will pop off in just around six months. The two UFC superstars will first go head-to-head as coaches on season 17 of the ratings-lacking Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality television show. While filming on set, there will be plenty of time for both fighters to prepare for the highly-anticipated showdown. What say you? Which Sonnen do you think will show up in New Jersey?
