Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 fight poster for Dec. 8 pay-per-view boxing event in Las Vegas

Stay connected for news and updates

Check out the official fight poster for the fourth (and likely final) meeting between boxing greats Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez on Dec. 8, 2012, in Las Vegas.

It's that time again, folks. Time to get ready for the latest episode in the longstanding friendly rivalry between boxing legends Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.

The two are scheduled to square off for the fourth time this coming Sat., Dec. 8, 2012, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here's the official poster for the event:

So fresh and so clean, clean.

Pacquiao holds the edge in the series, 2-0-1, though many would call into dispute the result of all three decisions. The third bout in particular is a major point of contention, with scoring varying widely between fans and pundits alike.

But that's why they're doing another, right?

The bout seems to be selling well and drawing plenty of attention, which could be bad news for both the Ultimate Fighting Championship and FOX, who will be staging the UFC on Fox 5: "Henderson vs. Diaz" event earlier in the evening. And while promotion President Dana White would be quick to tell you boxing and MMA can not only co-exist but prosper on the same night, there's little doubt that Pacquiao vs. Marquez will receive the lion's share of the press.

Attention from the media is already difficult to come by.

Either way, this is a combat sports fan's dream. First, you get a loaded UFC card with match-ups like Ben Henderson vs. Nate Diaz, Mauricio Rua vs. Alexander Gustafsson and B.J. Penn vs. Rory MacDonald before Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez takes center stage to close out the evening.

Can't wait.
