Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is putting the finishing touches on its upcoming UFC on FX 6 network television event, booked for the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Australia, for Dec. 15, 2012.
Due to the disparity in time zones, the live fight card airs stateside on Friday night (Dec. 14) at 9 p.m. ET.
UFC on FX 6 will feature a middleweight mash-up pitting hometown hero Hector Lombard against Brazilian bone cruncher Rousimar Palhares. In addition, The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) "Sm-Ashes" season will conclude its season with finales in both the lightweight and welterweight divisions.
Also on the docket will be a main event showdown featuring the two coaches for the show, a 155-pound tussle pitting George Sotiropoulos (Australia) vs. Ross Pearson (United Kingdom).
