UFC on FX 5 fighter payouts for those who competed at the "Silva vs Browne" televised event this past last Friday night (Oct. 5, 2012) from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, were released earlier today (via Sherdog).
Longtime UFC veteran and current welterweight contender Jake Ellenberger beat out main event headliner Antonio Silva with a $84,000 payday, which he earned for his unanimous decision win over Jay Hieron ($12,000) in a rematch hearkening back to their IFL days.
Heavyweight "Bigfoot" Silva banked a flat fee of $70,000 in victory over previously unbeaten prospect Travis Browne ($20,000) in the main event. That's more than double the $30,000 check John Dodson made earning a flyweight title shot by knocking our Jussier da Silva ($9,000).
But that's not all.

The total disclosed payroll for UFC on FX 5: "Silva vs. Browne" was $538,000.
Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments such as PPV bonuses, among others. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
