After spending more than a year on the sidelines, UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre will finally return to the Octagon when he faces Carlos Condit at the UFC 154 pay-per-view (PPV) next month in Montreal.
The most anticipated return in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) history!
That's according to the video above, which is designed to get you amped for the return of UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre, who comes off the injured reserves to throw hands opposite Carlos Condit at the UFC 154 pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Nov. 17, 2012.
As if you needed any help getting amped for this fight.
Even if you're not a fan of "Rush," the UFC's 170-pound weight class has been put on hold for a year while GSP mended a surgically-repaired knee, so it will be nice to get this division back into gear and out of the pit. "The Natural Born Killer" was technically the Interim champion, but since he was never assigned a title defense, the entire thing was kind of pointless.
None of that matters anymore.
All that matters is next month in Montreal, where the division titles will be unified. In addition, a new number one contender will be named when Johny Hendricks takes on Martin Kampmann in the co-main event.
