UPDATE: The upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event, which was to be dubbed UFC 145 and was tentatively scheduled for March 24, 2012, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, has been scrapped due to a lack of available "star power," as well as "scheduling complications."

Why is Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin on the main card but Mark Bocek vs. Matt Wiman not?
I know it’s all gonna be shown anyways but kinda wack considering that they’re both coming off wins.

His last wasn't all that good, but his fight with Bendo was great.
And his sub over McLovin’ was awesome.

Good point.
Though actually, since this card is so young, we don’t know what other fights will be announced. I would be rather shocked if they risked putting Big Ben on another main card after his near-death-via-exhaustion against Hunt.
None of those fights are main or co-main worthy, either. They’ll get at least two big fights for this card, and things will be swapped around.

Bocek’s fight with B. Hendo was exciting b/c of B. Hendo. like every time B. Hendo’s fought in the UFC.

the biggest name on this card so far is rory macdonald…what is the ufc doing here it makes no sense…why hold a card just for the sake of holding a card…i mean its sooo watered down, it weakens the perception of the ufc being the elite mma company in the world…if i wanna see fights like griggs vs browne or schaub vs rothwell i’ll just hit up a bar in alabama…anyone that says this is shaping up to be a great card is lying to themselves and probably don’t know shit about mma…

Basically there is 6 fights announced. They need about 5 more. If they add 2 or 3 solid fights they’ll bump some of the bouts from the “main card” to the undercard. They won’t stiff Canada like this.

beyond that, and i’m not a big “put name fighters on the main card” kinda guy, but this card is “meh” if you’re not Canadian. seriously.
and waiting around 2 1/2 hours for the main event is hardly what i want to do.
