Dustin Poirier is probably getting a complex.

"The Diamond" (11-1) is going on his third opponent for the UFC 143: "Diaz vs. Condit" pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled to take place next month (Feb. 4, 2012) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Stepping in for an injured Erik Koch, who was stepping in for an injured Ricardo Lamas, is featherweight newcomer Max Holloway (4-0), who cut his teeth in the X-1 promotion down in Hawaii, according to a report from MMA Weekly.

Poirier recently scored a submission win over Pablo Garza via D'Arce choke at UFC on FOX to improve his record to 4-1 under the Zuffa banner and 11-1 overall.

Tough debut test for "Lil' Evil."

UFC 143 will be headlined by former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz battling ex-WEC 170-pound kingpin Carlos Condit for the right to wear the division's Interim strap with Georges St. Pierre on the sidelines recovering from knee surgery.

In the co-main event, former welterweight number one contender Josh Koscheck will try to keep his spot among the 170-pound elite by taking on the venerable Mike Pierce.
