Brian Stann (left) will try to get back into the win column against fellow striker Alessio Sakara at UFC on FUEL TV 2 on April 14 in Sweden.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) gets another main card match-up for its upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 2 fight card, the second entry into the cable television network's live mixed martial arts (MMA) programming on April 14 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
Hard-hitting middleweight Brian Stann will try to get back into the win column when he takes on former Italian boxer Alessio Sakara, according to a report from MMA NYTT.
Stann (11-4) saw his three-fight win streak come to an abrupt halt at the hands of Chael Sonnen, who cut off the oxygen at UFC 136: "Edgar vs. Maynard 3" back in October 2010.
Sakara (15-8) is also coming off a loss, a three round beatdown at the expense of Chris Weidman last March as part of the UFC on Versus 3 event in Louisville, Kentucky.
Here's how the UFC on FUEL TV fight card is shaping up:
170 lbs.: DaMarques Johnson vs. John Maguire
185 lbs.: Francis Carmont vs. Magnus Cedenblad
170 lbs.: Papy Abedi vs. James Head
185 lbs.: Alessio Sakara vs. Brian Stann
205 lbs.: Cyrille Diabate vs. Jorgen Kruth
170 lbs.: Besam Yousef vs. Simeon Thoresen
