Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has booked a light heavyweight throwdown featuring Anthony Perosh (12-6) vs. Nick Penner (11-1) for its UFC on FX 2 event on March 3, 2012, scheduled for the AllPhones Arena in Sydney, Australia.

The pair will fight on March 3 at Sydney’s Allphones Arena, with Perosh looking to extend his winning form which most recently saw him take a second round submission victory over Cyrille Diabate at UFC 138 in Birmingham."11-1 light heavyweight prospect Nick Penner has verbally agreed to make his UFC debut against Anthony ‘The Hippo’ Perosh," said UFC Managing Director of International Development, Marshal Zelaznik. "Perosh is coming off back-to-back submission wins and looks to make it three in a row in his home country."
UFC on FX 2 will feature a welterweight headliner between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves as well as the opening round of the promotion's inaugural four-man flyweight tournament, featuring Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall and Joseph Benavidez vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani.
