Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz stops by the THQ developer's pit to get a first-hand look at the gameplay for the upcoming UFC Undisputed 3 video game, which drops on Feb. 14, 2012, for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Anyone thinking about kicking off their initial career mode as "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy?
There's been a lot of hype surrounding this latest offering, Maniacs, so who among you will be making the purchase on Valentine's Day? Anyone already pre-order it?

Anderson Silva is by far the number one P4P king!!! But now Tito is closing in! lol Maybe not, but I'm so fn happy that he beat Bader! The excuses were really getting to me, but when he wins, we don't hear about them.
I think he landed one on rashad in the first fight

One for me & one for my brother…he’s generally the only person I can beat online. I need that..I try not to take it personal, but losing to 12 year olds all day is soul crushing after a while….the Pride mode demo has me amped!

I wasnt gonna buy until i played the demo...
Now I can’t wait. Although the submission mini-game is wack the striking and G&P are much improved. The simulation mode is also extremely cool. Punches and kicks do more damage and cost more stamina so you can’t just spam strikes or you will get tired very fast, but it only takes a couple well timed strong strikes to put someone down. I urge anyone on the fence to give the demo a try.

you'll get used to the subs... i played the demo for about 4 hours straight the other day just working on the different subs....
Working down the body still works really well and thats the main way you’re going to get a sub just like 2010…
There is just a sense of fluidity in the standup that hasnt been present in undisputed games before and the follow through to movement on the ground is very very fluid… i am loving it and just fucked off i have to wait 3 more days until the 17th to get this one!!! But on the other hand i move into a new place next week and i should get some better fucking internet finally being its so close to the exchange – CANT FUCKING WAIT!

Some things about it are really bothering me right now, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
- auto block was removed. I keep forgetting to hold my R stick while on the ground. I keep getting kicked off when I take someone down.
- Jon Jones is over rated. I mean, I know he’s great but to have more powerful kicks than Anderson silva? Really?
-striking seems more fluid, but at the same time not. I find it harder to land a head body head combo.
- The submission mini game is crazy hard..
Oh, and Pride mode is absolutely brilliant.
Listening to Bas go on about himself while soccer kicking people. Can’t get much better.
Jones is rated Higher than Silva because its at 205! I’m sure 185lbs Anderson Has the best Striking stats in the game

I'd bank on Andersons stats being the same at 185 as they are at 205..
Jon Jones is raited 95 why Anderson is rated 93..
Did you even use auto block??? online you gotta actually block the ground game
I love how in top mount position you can posture down and hold them against the cage in between throwing strikes…. its fucking brilliant what theyve incorporated into those movements…

I'm all about the reversals online..
I could just flick the stick and get a reversal.. if I missed the auto block would stop the transition usually.
This time, if I go for a reversal and miss I’m kicked off and standing back up.
yep - i started to hate reversals because it felt like people were just mashing that flick of the stick
especially in the clinch – I found reversals didnt seem to work nearly as easy when i was going for them…. But when fighting against AS on Advanced or Ultimate modes he just reverses from all sorts of crazy positions!!! Cant wait to start a career and build all the moves into a fighter slowly. thats how i really get hold of certain moves then you find those same moves(with the stick) do some crazy shit for other fighters.
Whats with the basic controls?! looks like just a flick up and down rather than going around a half or quarter circle to determine minor or major tranisitions – i dont wanna fight people online just flicking up or down…

I've enjoyed playing on the demo
I’ll probably pre-order it this week just so I can get Nick Diaz and I’ve liked the FB page for the Reem. The Pride mode is a lot of fun and is going to be a great change of pace from the usual UFC fights. I still don’t know enough about the career mode but the fact that the stat decay is gone this year makes it better by default. The submission system isn’t great but it’s an improvement on the horrendous spinning the analogue sticks quickly gameplay. I usually get bored of the UFC games quickly but I have high hopes for this one.
Money Pool Season 6 begins 30th December.
ViolentMike, DarksideDrew and Yan will all fail.
On 30th December the Pain Train shall disband.
