Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today announced a pair of upcoming bouts for its UFC 145 fight card on March 24 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, featuring Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin and Matt Wiman vs. Mark Bocek.
UFC.com has it:
After a shocking knockout loss at UFC 140 in Toronto, featherweight contender Mark Hominick will waste no time in returning to fight again in his home country, this time taking on Eddie Yagin on March 24th in Montreal. Both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout. Also at that event, exciting lightweights looking to move up the rankings have verbally agreed to face off in as "Handsome" Matt Wiman will take on Canadian BJJ specialist Mark Bocek.
Hominick (20-10) was pasted by Chan Sung Jung at UFC 140 just last month, his second straight loss following a unanimous decision defeat to division champion Jose Aldo at UFC 129 back in April 2011. Yagin (15-5-1) is also coming off a loss after the judges sided with Junior Assuncao back at UFC 135.
Here's what the UFC 145 fight card looks like thus far.
