UFC on FOX 2 open media workout photos gallery for 'Evans vs Davis' in Chicago

Mixed martial arts (MMA) photographer extraordinaire, Esther Lin, was on the scene at the Chicago Boxing Club in Chicago, Ill., today (Jan. 25, 2012) to shoot several of the notable fighters who will compete on the UFC on Fox 2: "Evans vs. Davis" main card at the event's open media workouts.
Naturally, the two men who will collide in the main event, Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis, were on the scene to promote their light heavyweight clash, as well as work up one of the last few real sweats prior to fight night (Sat., Jan. 28, 2012) at the United Center in the "Windy City."
Co-main event participants, Chael Sonnen vs. Michael Bisping, were also in attendance prior to their 185-pound clash, which will determine the next challenger for UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.

Weidman can roll with Maia
And though he hasn’t shown the same power as Munoz he is more of a threat when it comes to grappling in my opinion…that fight will go to the judges’ decision unless Weidman has a Hughes-esque performance

I like Phil, and I’m not going to dismiss him… but seeing Nog shut down his TD’s with relative ease leads me to believe he might be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’m actually very excited for these fights.

Way to much pressure way to soon
I grew up in Pennsylvania and wrestled in high school and freestyle and grecco, I wrestled Davis numerous times and he always fuckin raped me… Dudes deceptivly strong and and has unbeliviabl speed and finesse… That being said, I dont see how anyone can argue that he is ready to step up and face Rashad… Dudes fought the very best in the UFC with the exception of Shogun and maybe Dan henderson, and beat everyone except Machida… I think Davis should have been given another fight first. Phils stand up is awkward and sloppy at best… The wrestlings there but…. this isnt a wrestling match… If phil wins it will be with BJJ
