Tom Lawlor vs Jason MacDonald on tap for upcoming UFC event on May 15 in Fairfax
Looks like Tom Lawlor will have to put down those shot glasses and get his "Filthy" self back in the gym now that UFC officials have announced his return to the cage for May 15, 2012.
That's when he'll take on Canadian "Athlete" Jason MacDonald in an upcoming UFC event planned for the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia. The fight card does not have a name as of yet, but is rumored to be the next UFC on FX event (number three for those of you keeping score at home).
Lawlor (7-4) is coming off a first round submission loss to UFC on Fox 2 fighter Chris Weidman. His "All American" defeat put him at 3-3 inside the Octagon, but all three of his losses have come within the span of his last four fights.
Time to right the ship or risk going overboard.
The surgically-repaired MacDonald (25-15) made a triumphant return to the cage against Ryan Jensen at UFC 129; however, he was mere cannon fodder for the "Talent" of Alan Belcher at UFC Fight Night 25 last September. He was already released once by the UFC, so this could be another do-or-die fight for the Edmonton native.
Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for more details to this upcoming fight card as they become available.

Uh oh
This smells like a loser leaves town match. I’m pulling for Filthy due to his always entertaining weigh-in antics.

After a botched kick atempt in the AFC championship game vs the Patriots, Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff attempted to commit suicide. Unfortunately, he could'nt kick the chair out from under himself...

I know lawlor has the funny costumes & shit during the weigh ins but honestly.
How the fuck R these 2 still in the UFC?
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death's construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
I wanted to see
Lawlor fight mayhem, like thy were originally suppose to before mayhem did TUF, I think it would be a good fight to see where both are at
Nick Diaz, UFC Champ 2012!!!
