Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) invades the United Center in Chicago, Ill., this Sat., Jan. 28, 2012, with its UFC on FOX 2: "Evans vs. Davis" event scheduled for an 8 p.m. ET start time.
That means sometime around roughly 8:45 p.m. or so we can expect to see the co-main event of the evening, which is a middleweight title eliminator featuring the always controversial Chael Sonnen taking on British bad boy Michael Bisping.
Seeing as we're talking about two veritable heels squaring off against each other, "The Count" knows there are quite a few folks hoping to see them both kissing canvas. He's ready to disappoint y'all.
"A lot of people are wishing for a double knockout in this one but that ain't going to happen. There's only going to be one person knocked out and that's Chael Sonnen."
Sonnen keeps it simple:
"I'm going to take these (fists), I'm going to walk across the ring, and I'm going to hit him with them repeatedly. If he hits me more times with his fists, he'll win, if I hit him more, I'll win."
We're just a few days away, Maniacs. Who ya' got advancing on to a fight against Anderson Silva for the 185-pound strap?

I Didn't Like How He Made it Seemed Like MMA Has No Technicality About It
He gets so caught up in his WWE speeches that he doesn’t realize what he’s saying might not be the best for the sport. I care more about the other people who hear it and take it seriously. He sounded more like a critic of the sport than a fighter.

How can you not love Chael's mic work?
Even when he’s trying to tone it down, it’s provocative. I love a guy that just keeps it simple, says what he plans on doing, and goes in there and does it (pretty much).

I’m almost positive Chael will take him down at will here. The question is, can Bisping pace himself and catch him with a good one in between. On the fence with this fight.

I just think it is funny to be so concerned with proper grammar when posting in this kind of forum, especially when terms like pwnage are involved.
You do your thing though. I am not hating. It makes me smile. I am constantly concerned with all of that from a professional standpoint so I use mania as an escape.

I assume that Chael will just grind out another pitter patter gnp display but maybe something unexpected will happen… doubt it though.
Why does everyone always bash Bisping’s punching power. He doesn’t go to decisions a ridiculous amount of the time like people make out. He demolished his last 2 opponents with KOs and has 4 of his last 7 fights finished with strikes. Not that bad IMO.

If you take a gander down his fighting record, even if you take those two kos away (which I wouldn’t), he still is above .500 finish percentage.

and he usually finishes them
Now he never actually KO’s them, but still finishes them

Huge difference between KO and TKO
Bisping has stopped many a person with his pillows. Not that he would ever knock them out but even the water can wear grooves in a rock after centuries.

Snail Sonnen takes this unfortunately by decision. this will be a slow and boring fight. Sonnen’s chin is too tough and Bisping’s to slippery on the ground for Sonnen. 3 rounds of takes down attempts and escapes….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
