If it lived up to the hype, it would probably fill my need for mma and I’d stop watching. But, as we all know, Anderson is staying at MW and the title picture really hasn’t looked better. Hopefully we get to see Chael, Weidman, and Palhares all get their shot, those are the fights I want to see.

It’s incredible, the technique used to make it so it dry’s perfectly ever time! I know it’s more exciting to by that cheap dime store Stockton shit for some that like a drying battle and the uncertainty of will it dry in one piece or will it look like it came out of a war all cracked and peeled. For me, I buy the safe paint that I know will dry right because at the end of the day isn’t that the purpose? The purpose is for the paint to dry. Kind of like fighting as a professional fighter, the purpose is to win. ;-)

You can’t make up the hypocrisy.
Injuries are a common occurrence in MMA but it doesn’t stop the hardcores from using it as an excuse to complain when the fights that they want to see don’t happen immediately. It’s also a great way for them to discredit proven champions after continuously having to watch them win. It’s an absolute joke that Andy and GSP have both been questioned by a bunch of bitter haters and accused of ducking people because they picked up legitimate injuries in training. I’m sure that these geniuses also think that JDS is faking an injury to avoid fighting Reem.

I have been a bendo fan for a long time, but he is in over his head here. Re-watch the Pettis/Bendo fight to guage it a bit better.
Miller and Bocek both don’t mind being on their backs as it sets up their offensive JJ. Pettis is a scrambler and got out from underneath Bendo everytime he wanted to. Frankie is a better scrambler and has better TDD than Pettis. Throw in Frankie’s footwork, and I can see a boxing clininc happening in the first two rounds followed by Edgar/BJ II for the remainder of the fight (Edgar domination).

does anyone watch that show “Caged” that comes on MTV? I watched one full episode yesterday…and it really was funny as hell. Mostly talks about the relationships the fighters are in and all that crap with a lead up to an amateur MMA event that the main characters are in…funny
particularly funny about episode yesterday….guy is in a fight, gets tagged a few times in first round, and looks bad, in second round he scores a takedown and manages to get an arm bar..but the producers, to cover their ass in case someone has no idea whats going on, shows everyone in the crowd yelling “arm bar! arm bar!” and even show subtitles which say…“Arm Bar”…i laughed out loud (lol)
I watched the first on efor 5 minutes
then realized they pruposely picked poor kids who are rather unintelligent as their stereotype for the show.

All silva is saying is he doesn’t see any current brazilian lhw beating jones. He’s not talking about himself in any way. The people that say they should fight right now are dumb. Jones hasn’t even been champ for a year and he still has his biggest challenges ahead of him with possible fights against rashad and hendo. Superfights are for boxing, not mma. The only superfight that would make sense regarding silva would be verse gsp. That only makes sense because they have been champs for so long and have cleaned out their divisions. It’s not like in boxing where weight classes are only seperated by a few pounds. They have weight classes in mma for a reason.
