thats why i win these fights,im not stupid
an i believe it,I here this yada, yada, yada with every fighter,im doing it for my kids, father, blah, blah, blah but with Nick you actually believe deep down that this is all he knows, hes not putting on a front.U might hold Nick down for a win or stop him on a cut but i dont believe u will ever BEAT him! I just see no quit in him
"ever heard of a tune up? tee hee hee hee
"ah hee hee hee ever heard of a ritual killing? tee hee hee hee"
"i dont get it"
"you gnaw on her face in public like that again and you'll be one tee hee hee hee"
+1
he is who he is and I can never agree with somebody who will compare him to Chael, just a promoter of fights which is something i’ve read on here often. He’s the opposite, he doesn’t pick a soft target or prepare to engage them, he just is who he is.
true thats why i wish he had good takedown defense
hes gonna lose a lot fights at ww because of wrestling i would pick gsp, josh koscheck, jake ellenberger, rory macdonald, jon fitch, dong hyun kim and johny hendricks all over diaz because all of those guys could probably take diaz down at will
you didn't mention condit, so do you have condit
Winning or losing?

have condit losing condit stand up falls right into diaz style
and he doesnt have the wrestling to hold diaz down
fair enough
Was just curious. I tend to agree. I think Condit’s gotta win by ko, but I don’t think Diaz’s chin will allow him to succumb to a knock out loss. He’ll perhaps get rocked a couple of times, no doubt. But in the end, Diaz is too long and accurate for Condit.

I disagree slightly. Cerrone and Condit dont have really the same style of stand up. Donald Cerrone has a thai style but it is heavily kickboxing based from his coach Mike Winklejohn. Condit on the other hand is much more dynamic in his arsenal and his thai boxing is based from his original striking coach Tom Vaughn. Condit likes to incorporate much more elbows and knees and he fights in the “telephone booth” a whole lot more. I think Nicks style actually plays in Condits favor.
And he has much better wrestling then Cerrone.
These two guys at the top of my list
and I agree
I think Condit makes a fight of it, but I see Nick taking it.
Scott1 - Extremly Well Said
There is nothing fake about Nick Diaz. He is who he his. He doesn’t try to be politically correct. He’s not a polished public speaker. He’s not media savvy. He is just a fighter. Plain and simple. When I think of the definition of “fighter,” I think of Nick Diaz.
thanks, tom.
lastnight during the fights they kept showing preview after preview for this shit. i never really watch the PT shows but this time i actually was looking forward to it..
im watching the fights in canada and we get the feed from sportsnet.. as soon as the fights end, i get my popcorn ready, and they switch back over to regular broadcasting which happend to be girls soccer..

yeah, but that was all we missed
And we didn’t have to flip channels cause Sportsnet picked up all the prelims and main card all one on channel. A lot of MMA for one network/one night.

not enough nick diaz in this episode
condit story was ok but diaz was way more intresting
Thats exactly what i said yesterday
they gave us like 15 straight minutes of condit
I am sure next week we will see more Diaz. The thing is .. as the show pointed out, Diaz doesnt like the cameras
He seemed fine with it on the first episode
Probably because the UFC is paying him some stacks!
I hereby declare that Edson Barboza is the true owner of the Showtime Kick
He seems like a guy that has a switch he flips to be two completely opposite personalities. There is like this real friendly and nice Nick that we saw laughing about the fire alarm story but its like as soon as he feels threatened or bothered he is dickhead Nick who flips you off and slaps you.
Don’t be a dick around him then, Nick is cool. Trust me I know first hand, I’ve trained with him.

I know someone with that sort of mentality. If he doesnt like you he doesnt try to get along with you.
king, one thing to learn,
Every word that comes out of Danago’s mouth is 100% a lie. Don’t be fooled. He’ll even throw out the odd very well worded paragraph to show he knows the sport. Then he’ll turn around and lie for the 100 next posts.

yep lol
Danago claims to be a real fighter who’s in the UFC or something and is 99-1 on the streets or some sh*t. Its ridiculous. Don’t listen to him at all when he talks about himself or who he knows.

you know they are getting compenstated for this especially nick
if they really want nick to open up all they have to do is five him a fat ccigerette filled with marawana and snap say hello to Nick.
And Condit is boring
“I’ve had love and support since I was a kid, no matter what I wanted to do.”
Cool story, bro
I'm not a racist. I hate all people equally.
I sure hope the next episode has more Diaz.
It seemed that the first 2 minutes were and the last 5 were to diaz, and Condit got all the rest.
I NEED MORE DIAZ!

Diaz - "I grew up in a horrible neighborhood"
Condit – “I drove a horrible neighborhood for this episode…same thing”
Carlos’ dad – “Carlos ain’t shit”
Is it same to assume that Carlos’ mom is a porcupine??? 10:08
The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far is as needed?
Where have you been?
"To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man." - William Shakespeare (Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 3)
Nick Diaz is going to make condit work and slave for his life.
condit has been spouting what he is going to do to Diaz and that is only to set the burners on high. condit will go down when he realizes being brain-washed by jackson’s group was his worst mistake. Look for a beat-down of this phony condit.
You realize
of his twenty something wins, he’s only gone to decision like once or twice
I think Nick takes it, but to call Condit a phony is stretching it to say the least
primetime diaz condit
nick diaz wins this fight he will be a superstar i watched the primetime show and wanted to fast forward the condit segment 2 see more diaz he is real ive never been so pumped 2 watch any other fighter ever war nick diaz and new welterweight ufc champion the average person can relate with diaz the kid brings it
Condit has no desire to stand with Diaz. Don’t listen to him or Jackson, they will try work the trademark Jackson style for this fight. Condit has nothing to offer Diaz standing up, or on the ground.

He is, probably better than Nick. He can’t compete with Nick for 25 minutes though.

condit is boring
more diaz less condit and please no more shots of condits wifey no offence
true
iam more worried about condits counter hooks when diaz is lighting him up
Condit's comment for the win
“I love to fight. Plain and simple. I would do it for free……if I could make a living doing it "
I laughed when I heard that
Am I Wrong?
You're not wrong.....You're just an Asshole
Lmao.
Who would have thought that the most ridiculous statement would come from Condit.

good shit.. im fucking pumped!~
Guess who’s getting knocked the fuck out.
i’ll give you one hint: it rhymes with condit.

So then, it's not Condit?

the knock out might come
diaz should have finished penn in the 2nd if he throw some head kicks or knees while he had him rocked if he puts condit in a similar spot he will mix it up more
Whats that song at the 13 minute mark? anybody?

he just likes to do what we do he likes to fight
hard as hell promote the hell out of this kid dana dont be a mook straaight 2 the top
I don't care who wins, this is going to be Epic
I think both of these guys are very tough. Hoping for a 5 round war.
The difference is those 50% punches verus haymakers. I think Diaz will pace and bloody up Condit.
Stupid Signature Goes Here
Condit Doesn't Throw Haynakers
Condit is a 75-85% consistent puncher. I’ve always disliked Diaz’s attitude, but I wasn’t brought up like him. I can’t relate to it, so I have to assume there’s good reason he’s the way he is.

Condit looked through the phone book and found Jacksons MMA
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Condit start training and fighting out of FIT NHB early in his career?
he went there after he did Jackson's for a few years first
then came back around the time he came to the UFC when the WEC was bought, I think his first fight back was the Rory fight
His first fight in the UFC was Kampmann I believe..He lost.

Gotta admit...
I’m a Diaz fan now that I have a little more perspective on his life. I also loved the mean mug from his 2nd grade class pic… LMAO.

"Anderson fought with no ribs. Aldo fought with no foot, go do the math."
- Danago
always enjoyed his fights im a fan of fighters that put on exciting fights .
BJ, Diaz, Hendo, Aldo, these type of fighters i really enjoy
Nick Diazx i said in a previous post is becoming my favorite fighter and athlete.
The rawness of his character is just so interesting and likable. The poet in motion was a great quote. His fight style mimics his attitude.
