CFS: 'Rivalry' fight card and line-up finalized for Jan. 28 in Santa Monica


California Fight Syndicate (CFS) has finalized its "Rivalry" fight card for Jan. 28, 2012, at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, California.

The "Rivalry" main event will feature a featherweight bout pitting Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 veteran Jesse Newell against the venerable Aaron Miller, as well as a co-main that has Joe "Leonidas" Henle taking on Hector Carrillo in 185-pound action.

Also featured on the card are Johnny Hackleman Jr., son of Chuck Liddell's legendary trainer John Hackleman, Corby Poulis, Makani Sarellano, Sevak Magakian and Jared Papazian, among others.

Guest appearances include former CFS Welterweight Champion and TUF 13 winner Tony Ferguson, Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Gilbert Melendez, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett and more.
