Matches to Make After UFC 142

Edson Barboza vs. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone- One Word….FireWorks. The best Kickboxer in the division against the best Thai Boxer in the division. I know Joe Silva doesn’t like to match up guys coming off a win against guy’s coming of a loss, but I feel Dana and him wont hold the Diaz loss against him for stepping up for them. I could see this fight going down at UFC 145 or 146.

Erick Silva vs Dan Hardy- Im pretty confident the UFC (There is no commission in Brasil) will overturn Silva’s loss to a No Contest. I was impressed to say the least but I feel they should bring him along slowly, hopefully he is working on his TDD because the top of the WW division is stacked with wrestlers. A match-up with Hardy is sure to not disappoint!!

Rousimar Palhares vs Demian Maia/Michael Bisping loser- A potential grappling superfight between the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Wizard and Leg-Lock Expert would be incredible. And a lot of fans would pay “Paul Harris” to crank on bisping extremities past the Ref’s Stoppage!

Vitor Belfort vs Wanderlei Silva- is Already Happening!

Jose Aldo vs Chan Sung Jung- Get em while their Hot!! Chan Sung Jung has a Big Fanbase which helps and is coming off a 7 sec KO of Former title contender Mark Hominick so he is probably the hottest product right now. While he is only on a 2 fight win streak both of his wins have been very impressive the aforementioned smashing of Hominick and the Beautiful Twister submission over Leonard Garcia!

Other Matchups

Gabriel Gonzaga vs Dave Herman/Stefan Struve winner

Terry Etim vs Sam Stout

Carlo Prater vs Brian Ebersole

Anthony Johnson vs a Chocolate Cake
