UFC 146 headed to Atlanta, Ga., on April 21, 2012

It's hard to believe, but it's been more than three years since Rashad Evans turned out Chuck Liddell's lights in utterly spectacular fashion in the UFC 88: "Breakthrough" main event at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

What is also hard to believe is that the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion has not staged an event in "Hotlanta" since that sensational Saturday night in Sept. 2008. However, that is about to change in 2012 because it was announced this evening on FUEL TV's "UFC Tonight" that the organization is headed back to Atlanta on April 21, 2012.

No fights were announced for UFC 146, much less a headlining attraction, on the broadcast. However, expect that to change real soon with so many fighters -- and contenders -- competing this month, including none other than "Suga."
