Also regarding GSP he is the better all around fighter over Condit. I’d say it is close overall and Condit has better jits with GSP having far superior wrestling. Condit also with a power advantage. Man GSP will take this to the ground so fast. But he risks getting subbed as well. If he is dumb enough to keep it standing Condit may land that one shot. Training together and watching the extensive film, you know GSP is going to try to jab him to death. Condit’s varied attack on the feet is dangerous to GSP as well. The best way for GSP to win this is by five rounds of GNP.

Loads of amateurs. But the two main events are what to catch. Holly against Finney. Holly in her second MMA fight against a very veteran Finney. She just lost to Cyborg.
Mikey is a local guy, family to Lenny Lovato. Tough guy but will be undersized. He is maybe 5"2 and a flyweight but moving up to fight one of Jacksons more promising 135ers. Travis is 17-3 and all 3 losses coming at 145 and 155.
Both scrappy and both needing a big win to propel out of the regional scene.

He says he cuts nothing for weigh-ins. He’s weighed in low several times. GSP would probably have to cut a few pounds to make 185.

I don’t think GSP is a guy that would fit in at MW. Silva fits pretty well at 205 so if we see any super fights with Anderson, it may be him at 205.

You are completely wrong. Simple enough to state.
It has nothing to do with contract purposes what so ever, no fighter or manager knows the other guys “walk around” weight because it fluctuates so much. Which is why I dont buy your “Ive cut weight since HS deal”
Nobody starts their camp the same as last. Unless each camp you do the same thing in your off time, you start at the same time and you have the same amount of weeks til the fight.
It isnt for purse purposes because again no fighter or manager negotiate pay based on someones walk around weight. I have never said hey well you know he walks at 161 I want x amount for that.
When two fighters weigh in on the day of weigh ins they both have equal time to hydrate their bodies to accomodate themselves accordingly. Each fighter holds weight uniquely. Some people like to hydrate alot to be stronger, some hydrate less to stay faster. Some hydrate less to keep cardio. ETC.
But they both have the same time and opportunity to hydrate to put forth their best efforts the next day. Simple as that.
If GSP and Ando fought I can guarantee you that GSP starts camp slightly heavier then usual and will hydrate more full as well. And I bet Anderson uses the opposite approach. He will cut less.
No two weight cuts are identical. As we all have different builds and frames and use hydration for different reasons.
