Who wears short shorts?
Not Dennis Hallman. Well, not anymore -- but that doesn't mean he won't be coming in skimpy for his UFC 140 bout opposite John Makdessi at the Air Canada Centre on Dec. 10 in Toronto, according to MMA Die Hards.
That's because "Superman" is darting into the phone booth at 170-pounds and coming out a lightweight, a quick-change transformation likely brought on by his hairy-chested kryptonite at UFC 133 last month in Philly.
Anyone giving him a shot in the UFC's stacked 155-pound division?
If he expects to have any sort of career longevity as a lightweight, he'll first have to get past Makdessi, who's perfect through nine professional fights.
He's a stiff test for any competitor, even one as seasoned as Hallman.
UFC 140 is expected to be headlined by a heavyweight rematch pitting the resurgent Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira against mouthy nemesis Frank Mir. Other bouts announced for the Toronto card include Rory MacDonald vs. Brian Ebersole and Mitch Clarke vs. John Cholish.
