Maximo Blanco vs Pat Healy odds for Strikeforce fight on Sept. 10

Stay connected for news and updates

Sengoku Raiden Championship (SRC) import Maximo Blanco (8-2-1) is back in action this Saturday night (Sept. 10) on the main card of the Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix event from the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

"Maxi" will battle 155-pound stalwart Pat Healy (25-16) live on Showtime.

Blanco is riding a six-fight winning streak, including a 4-0 run in his 2010 fight campaign. The Venezuelan is a dangerous offensive fighter, having finished seven of his eight victims by way of (T)KO.

That makes him the odds-on favorite at -140 heading into "Queen City." Healy is a slight underdog at +120.

"Bam Bam" is 5-1 over his last six fights including a gritty performance against the previously undefeated Lyle Beerbohm. He's got terrific wrestling, a ton of experience and should be right at home inside the Strikeforce cage.

Anyone predicting an upset?

The Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Semifinals will feature a headlining tournament bout between former PRIDE stars Josh Barnett and Sergei Kharitonov.
