Jake Ellenberger plans to pressure Jake Shields in UFC Fight Night 25 main event (Video)
Even though Jake Ellenberger feels bad that Jake Shields, his upcoming opponent in the UFC Fight Night 25 main event recently lost his father, "The Juggernaut" plans to bring the heat on Sept. 17, 2011. He knows this is a business and that Shields -- a former number one division contender -- represents a huge opportunity for him to catapult to the front of the 170-pound line. Can he do it at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La., or will Sheilds pull off an emotional victory for his late father?

Hope Ellenberger wins
Shields is tough though, probably tougher than normal with his dad passing. Hope there is no eye scrapping.

remember when he almost killed Condit with that bomb in the first round.
This guy is top ten quality. Shields is surprisingly resilient but Ellenberger will get him out. He wont gas like hendo hopefully. None of that Rocha business i hope.

Shields via head kick to the neck region!
Fedor "The Can Crusher" Emeilianko IS NOT THE BEST HW EVER , in fact he sucks! he has the most padded record in the history of any combat sport, scratch that in the history of any sport. He has not changed as a fighter , he is still just as good as he was then, only difference is he isn’t fighting freaks and nobodies, I , along with many others have been duped into believing he is great, when clearly he is NOT! -I hate you the Dragon...one day
Does anyone know when Thiago Silva is eligible to fight again? I kind of miss that guy........
I think Ellenberger..
can tough this out…Their wrestling and scrambling should be pretty close.. Ellenberger was caught in some Rocha sub attempts so I’m not sure he wants to do that with Shields..
NNR's had it right since the beginning, Ellenberger is going to destroy shields
but now after the fight all we are going to here is ‘Jake recently lost his father, his head wasn’t in the right place’ etc … basically anything to downplay Ellenberger’s win. Not saying the passing of his father won’t have a big effect on the way Shields fights but if Ellenberger wins he most likely will not be getting full credit for it. Just my opinion in the matter.
