Yes, he looks good and should be able to put the pressure on as long as the bump up in competition is not too much too quick.
Great throw, one of the highlights of the event along with Diaz’s performance.

I believe the throw in this gif is a hirai-goshi. That was my initial thought when I saw it last night, though I’m not positive. It’s been some time since I’ve played Judo.

Boetsch is a strong dude....
I’ve seen him ragdoll a few guys in his UFC career more than just about everybody else. Don’t think there are too many dudes with the strength to do that hip toss the way Tim did it using more strength than technique like you see from some of the guys with the judo background.
His corner was telling him all night to stick to the gameplan. Wonder what that was.
