Everyone who bought UFC 135 noticed one thing. It wasn't the decisive finish for Jones, or the incredibly shitty fight that Rothwell put up. It was the fact that Joe Rogan could hang from Jon Jones' nuts with his mouth, while simultaneously telling us how great he is. The highlight of this horrible commentary is when Jones and Rampage are staring at each other not throwing punches, and Joe tells us how Jones fights "Anderson Silva like". Maybe Joe doesn't understand what makes Silva special, but it's not when he stares at his opponent. Generally, it's what happens next.

This is not the first time a Zuffa commentator has done this sort of thing. At UFC Rio, if you just listened to the commentary you would think that Edson Barboza was completely dominating Ross Pearson. The reality was the fight when to a razor close split decision win for Barboza, which many have called a robbery. What I wonder is if Rogan/Florian is biased or are being told what to say. After all, would you really be surprised if Dana told Rogan to speak well about his biggest new star, or hottest prospect?
