The official weigh-in event for DREAM 17 went down last night (Sept. 22, 2011) at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

All 22 fighters scheduled to compete on tomorrow night's card made their respective weights without exception. Abel Cullum came in about four pounds over, but was able to make the appropriate weight (134.5 lbs.) after being given additional time to do so.

DREAM 17 will feature a score of high profile match-ups between Japanese mixed martial arts (JMMA) blasts from the past, as well as some top up-and-comers.

The card will also feature the four opening round fights for the DREAM Bantamweight tournament, as well as an "open weight" bout between catch wrestling pioneer Ikuhisa Minowa and Baru Harn.
