Jon Jones' reach examined on ESPN 'Sports Science' (Video)

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has a long reach.

How long? Try 84.5 inches, with arms that are 34.5 inches long. That means he can jab you into oblivion from three feet away. Kind of a big deal heading into UFC 135 this Saturday night (Sept. 24) in Denver, Colorado.

In fact, his wingspan allows him to cover 182 cubic feet inside the Octagon, a whopping 80-percent more than the average male. And that's not including his "Superman punch," which can extend his range to over five feet.

Best of luck, "Rampage."
