Former "Ultimate Fighter" and MFC veteran Chris Camozzi will make his return to the Octagon at UFC 137: "St. Pierre vs. Condit" when he takes on promotion newcomer Francis Carmont at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Oct. 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The promotion made the bout official late last night.
Camozzi (15-4) was released after a 2-1 stint following his graduation from the TUF program. He's had one fight since then, a split decision win over Joey Villasenor under the Shark Fights banner last May.
Opposing him is Carmont (16-7), who not only makes his promotion debut but his middleweight debut as well. The surging Frenchman has been "Limitless" in recent fights, winning five straight and securing all five victories via stoppage.
Will Camozzi be number six?
UFC 137 will feature welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre putting his title -- and legacy -- on the line when he goes head on against division number one contender Carlos Condit.
The co main event will highlight the recently demoted Nick Diaz taking on B.J. Penn.
Mirko Filipovic vs. Roy Nelson and Matt Mitrione vs. Cheick Kongo have also been announced for the card, as well as the Octagon debut of Hatsu Hioki against George Roop.
