Yes, it's a proven fact, how many people were interested when Marloes Coennen got fired from SF compared to how many threads/posts from people asking about Brittney Palmer the ring card girl?
So to sum it up, Maerlos is gone from SF. They can’t even get cyborg a fight, which is the only female MMA practitioner IMO worthy of the #1 ranking in womens MMA and the only female MMA fighter that I even look forward to watching fight. Not to mention Gina Carano abandoning MMA after the ass beating that Cyborg dished out (not that I blame her cause fighting probably pays her squat compared to everything else). Yea I like the Meisha Tate racy photos, and some of the other women in MMA look good on a poster but lets face it, I could care less about the actual upcoming competition they’re involved in.
I think Strikeforce being dissolved/absorbed by the UFC in the near future is inevitable at which point women’s MMA won’t even have a prime time TV spot unless Bellator picks it up and gets a spike TV deal. At which point if Bellator gets too much attention they get bought by the UFC and that goes out the window anyway.
So yea, the ring card girls are more relevant to mma than the female fighters are at this point in time in the sport.

I have no problem with women’s mma but it isn’t even worth followingw hen weight classes have no deptha nd the best of the bunch, cyborg can’t even find an opponent.
Cyborg is just way abover her generationa and it’s a shame because one day it will be and we never got to see Cyborg at her prime.

i enjoy watching womens mma. its on par with womens tennis and womens soccer to me. i do, however, agree with dana white that there isnt enough talent to fuel a permanent womens division in the ufc.
There's not enough talent to go around and the fights just aren't technical/athletic enough in comparison to the male fighters
You don’t see any female MMA fighter put on an A. Silva/BJ Penn/Jon Jones/Frankie Edgar/Jose Aldo etc.. type performance. I give cyborg credit cause she’s got an exciting, brawling style that reminds me of Wand back in the Pride days but that’s the only one I’ve ever watched and been genuinly impressed with.

Oh you do but they're rarely seen. And because they dont fight as often.
I mean statesite the world really only sees two divisions and maybe one or two fights involving the same girl over and over. The best women’s division is 125 imo. And just like all the LWs were in japan at one point, thats where it resides. It’ll come over here soon especially now that athletes on par with cyborg are getting into the sport girls like sara mcmann, randi miller and rhonda rousey. Girls who were only olympic tracks but chose the $$$ instead of kim couture and the riff raffs like that. Like anything, it’s simply a matter of time.
