Tickets for UFC on Versus 6: "Cruz vs. Johnson," which was recently made official for the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at 10 a.m. ET.

UFC Fight Club members and UFC Newsletter subscribers, naturally, will be able to scoop up tickets prior to them being available for public consumption.

UFC on Versus 6 will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight that features champion Dominick Cruz trying to "Dominate" the division's mightiest mouse, Demetrious Johnson.

Other match ups currently set for the Oct. 1 card include a welterweight war between Anthony Johnson and Charlie Brenneman, as well as a long awaited rematch that pits Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman.

And don't forget that heavyweight hustle that pits Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve.

UFC on Versus 6 tickets can be purchased through StubHub.com (Note: StubHub often has seats available even if the event is "sold out"). It will also be available to watch on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET on fight night.
