That happened to me too when I was sparring.

I went in for an outside leg kick, but didn’t step in far enough and because the guy I was sparring with was also checking the kick, the topside of my foot smashed against his shin. Turned a blood vessel popped and I was out for a few weeks.

I hear you

Same thing happened to me twice in a 3 month span. First time I was walking into McDonalds and the second time I was leaving Taco Bell. Both time I caught the curb edge. Didn’t help that I was too busy focused on which 2 coupons I was going to use for the McD’s dinner and I was munching on my 3rd burrito supreme and was too busy juggling that and my nacho bellgrande.

When in doubt, shoot one out.
