Phil Davis turns 27 in about a month and has only been training in MMA for 3 years. I won’t write him off at this point. In terms of strength and athleticism, he’s one of most impressive physical specimens at LHW in the world. I’d say only Jon Jones has superior physical gifts. His standup clearly needs work and he’s probably going to get a free lesson from Machida in December.
