UFC President Dana White believes that now that he's helped broker a deal to get the world's largest fight promotion on a network TV channel like FOX, mixed martial arts (MMA) will finally start to get the credit and respect from the mainstream that it deserves. Agree or disagree and why?

I can’t explain how happy and excited i am about this. TUF live is a genius idea and it’s about time zuffa breathed some new life into the dry shell that is TUF umpteen. Now just get rid of those cornball generic “teams” and just bring the tv show to the coach’s gym and showcase established mma camps around the world! A boy can dream

There is a halo effect to being a sport on a network. UFC gets less coverage than tennis or golf on a lot of the mainstream sports shows, and I think part of that is it’s buried on Spike and PPV and lets a lot of people write it off like it’s pro wrestling.
As someone who got into the sport when I was having to search out low quality bootlegs of PRIDE events on the internet to get my MMA fix, it’s amazing to see how far it’s come. I remember the first time I saw the highlights of a UFC event on the local news after the fight, and how awesome it was. This is the next step, and I’m really excited to see it happen.

I think they're going to splash the UFC brand on FOX like BE splashes green on each other's nutsacks.
I think we’ll be seeing a LOT of fights and not having to go to 3 places to get em all.

in so many ways – PPV will still be there adn our experience in those wont change – but there will be more… and more and more UFC than ever…. More fights means more changes in the divisions, less time waiting for a contender…. more up and comers – itll be great

I woke up 4 hours ago and i never check mania first thing but i picked up my phone and read the news… It was the same thing that happened when UFC bought SF… I woke up one day went to take a shit and read Mania on my phone… i only ever usually read it on the bus but something urges me to… And this.. well this morning i got excited – Change is a good thing. AND IM FUCKING STOKED ABOUT GETTING RID OF THE GLADIATOR THEME…. FINALLY!!!!!

MMA Frenzy had Brock rumored return for Dec 10th in Toronto. I could see them possibly moving Cain and JDS that are set to square off November 19th or moving GSP and Diaz form Oct 29th to this date? Other than that have any of your heard potential fights for this card you would have to think the UFC is going to make the first card a blockbuster on November the 12th.

Well im worried about what happens for Aus viewers
We get most of the spike and versus on different channels – whoever picked up the partnership for that one at the time would show it so it always meant researching what channel the fights are going to show – i hope this brings a more stable relationship with one of our networks like One HD or something so we can catch it all on the one station
