James "Slimmed Down" Toney is apparently taking his budding mixed martial arts career seriously. As you can see, the suddenly not-so pudgy pugilist had a wake up call from family and friends and is back on the right track in training, having lost a considerable amount of weight to get all the way down to 213-pounds (Pic). Anyone think Ken Shamrock is in trouble when (and if) they ever get to slugging it out later this year? And should Quinton Jackson be worried now that Toney can almost make 205-pounds?

MMA doesnt have to worry about Toney, but he should go back to boxing if he’s serious… a little TRT might help… he can ask Hendo for advice

1:00-2:00 – Ken Shoots for a single leg takedown, James toney hits him in the back of the head, Ken Drops but is still holding on to the leg, pulls tony to the ground and goes for a knee bar, Tony taps,

That or Ken will just get injured while shooting or Toney will catch him with a few fisticuffs and end the fight early

If it’s close to Philly I’m going to see it live and pay for the ppv to have in my collection. he has realized that if he is going to spout off and try to fight MMA that he needs to get into some sort of half assed shape! Def looks like he has been gettin it done. I cant decide who I think would win in a fight between him and shammy, automatically I think Toney ko’s him quickly then when you think about it, even though shammy is a travelling sideshow at this point he still is a vet of MMA and can fight on the ground. He could take James down and pound him out or sub him. Toney has one chance to win (ko), ken has numerous ways to beat toney (gnp, sub, strikes). If Im putting money on it I think ive got to go with Shammy as much as it pains me lol!
