On August 16th, 2011 I am competing at a Mixed Martial Arts Event in Curitiba Brazil at a Brazilian Mixed Martial Arts organization Premier Combate Alliance Selva. I will be facing Marco J. Ribeiro who is a product of X-gym.... the same Gym that Will Ribeiro, Patricky Freire and Patricio Freire train out of, it is also associated closely with Team Nogueira.
I am Tomas Taverin, I'm a 19 year old and I spend my time training at Vega Muay Thai, home of Muay Thai fighter Brazilian born Seridas Vega. I also spend time training at Nova Uniao and Elite BJJ(Sister Camp of Brazilian Top Team). I am 5'6 and fight in the 135lb weight division. I've been training since I was 6 years old, because I wasn't old enough to date, My Uncle's a Gym Rat and he's all I got so I figured why not? I'm a Muay Thai Kickboxer and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt under Royler Gracie.

You guys know this guy right? Huh you don't know this guy! Eduardo Dantas(10-2-0) Fight Camp: Nova Uniao
This guy is my training partner for today, as this will be my last full training session, after this I'm just gonna be taking things lightly, cutting weight and Spiritually getting my body in the right place.
I will be rolling with Coach Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro and boxing with Coach Carlos Coelho,not Claudio.
9:15 PM: Woke up and drank 2 glasses of Water, Uncle cooked some Oven Baked Plantains and I ate the delicious meal with a glass of milk.
10:45 PM: I went out and I helped watched the food stand for this old guy who's got to be the nicest guy in town, I helped him for about an hour.
12:00 PM: So I walked down to the gym(Nova Uniao) and helped play sparring dummy for some of the people in this camp who also have fights coming up.
1:55 PM: Eduardo decides to show up, I do 5 4 minute rounds of shadow boxing and straight forward kickboxing, Eduardo does 3 5 minute rounds of grappling with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Bruno Bastos.
2:30 PM: Eduardo Dantas and Myself begin light sparring( No Takedowns, No Clinch) and soon after we take the pads off an go full on!
3:17 PM: Then I begin hitting the pads with Carlos Coelho for about 20 minutes(with breaks)
4:46 PM: I put on my Gi and get tooled by Shaolin Ribeiro lol, no but I learn tons of great things and I'm elevated with confidence, I take a shower after Training.
6:15 PM: Eat a few apples and drink 3 glasses of Water and eat a Greek Salad.
7:00 PM: 30 minute workout at home and I read the bible a little.
8:10 PM: I pick up my girlfriend and we watch Friday Night Smackdown,I take her home at 9:00 PM.
9:06 PM: I visit the church home where my mother and father are resting and take my supplements.
10:10 PM: I drink a glass of water, play UFC Undisputed 2010, check to see if their are any new videos from UFC THQ, weigh myself, hit the hay.
I'm 140 pounds Friday night,
I'm wearing this mouthpiece for the fight.
Me and My team will be wearing these shirts for the press conference and weigh ins.
Weigh in shorts, don't worry I've pulled these shorts off before! LOL
