Lance Armstrong has been drug tested more than any athlete in professional cycling. He has never had a positive test. He has never had a positive result overturned due to a procedural error. These are verifiable, provable, accurate facts. You have no FACTS to support your accusations.

If this is true, then why would French newspaper L’Equipe, which also owns the TdF, work so hard to try to bust Armstrong, going as far as to plant empty vials as “evidence” in his hotel room? Seems to me that flies right in the face of their self-interest and your latest failed theory.

And a half dozen other riding partners are all calling bullshit. There are two riders, Tyler Hamilton and Floyd Landis, who claimed to have first-hand knowledge of Lance doping.
Landis has been thrown out of professional cycling for life, sold a book proclaiming his innocense to raise money to try to keep his TdF title and later admitted he cheated and that his book was a lie and he defrauded thousands of people who believed his story.
Hamilton, who is also permanently banned from pro cycling, had the same accusations against Lance conveniently coincide with the time he was shopping a book. Neither of them could possibly have any motive to make shit up could they?

UFC targets the US because thats where they have all their shows. It is the reason they have the best organization because they locked down their #1 market. You dont see them doing shows in Russia and Germany like they do in the US because while it is important to be Global their main market is HERE.

TRT is something that is a legitimate treatment if needed. Regardless if people say well if they did previous steroids they need it or whatever the case.
Alot of people experience low testesterone which could also be caused by pituitary gland problems. If someone is low then they will be fatigued quickly and sluggish so they would be at a disadvantage.

The side effects go hand in hand with anything of the sort, when you abuse it. Pain killers have side effects if abused. TRT done correctly is very low risk in terms of side effects. I have seen it for almost a year now and never has any of those side effects flared.

Chael is funny as fuck and tough as fuck. Who would you rather listen to get interviewed, Anderson or Chael? Sure, Chael does spew some bullshit and exaggerations but a lot of what he says is true and he doesn’t pull any punches or attempt to be politically correct.
Probably, the part I dislike least has to do with his loss to Anderson and him continuing to say he didn’t lose the fight. But the parts about Wand/Brazil, Hughes, Pride Fighters and p4p are pretty good assessments.

He knew he was gonna get popped for those “procedural violations” and that if he won and was stripped of the belt it would be such a PR nightmare for the UFC that they’d never let him fight there again (see Josh Barnett). But if he LOST and got popped…then he’d get another chance. Simple matter of covering his ass and keeping his career. He knew there was no way he could lose a decision. He had completely made good on his promise to make the fight a “one sided pounding with me swingin’ the hammer”. And he knew the Commish was giving him funny looks regarding his notification of his TRT, so he had a choice, either win, get publicly stripped of the title and banned from the UFC, or lose and be remembered as the most exciting challenger in history and make a glorious comeback.

I love Sonnen’s dry wit and love him even more for making good on his promise to beat Silva’s diva ass. But even during that fight, in the fifth round before Silva threw up the triangle, I was saying to the guys at my table “What the hell’s Sonnen doing leaving his arm laying on Silva’s chest like that?!? Is he getting tired and lazy or just overconfident? He better watch himself or he’ll screw this up!” 30 seconds later, my worst fears were realized and all my dreams shattered. And when the news came out that he’d gotten popped in the post-fight drug test, the above scenario naturally came to mind. You hate to think anyone would throw a fight, but if the Commish was already making an issue of the TRT when Sonnen “disclosed” at the weigh-ins, and Sonnen knew it was gonna blow up in his face, this would be his only way of saving his career in the UFC. With the UFC struggling to gain legitimacy in the mainstream sports media world, they can’t afford a PR nightmare like having a Champion stripped for “performance enhancing.”

Saying “I wouldn’t care if he were murdered” and “I wouldn’t shed a tear if they were” are different statements. I would care but I wouldn’t weep and cry about it. The latter statement also doesn’t imply that they “want” that person murdered.

I dunno about racist, but definitely biased.
Rampage has talked about his love/hate thing with PRIDE and the Japanese fans. They loved him as a character, as a sort of embodied stereotype, so long as he played into that role. But he’s also said he felt they didn’t treat him fairly from an employer/employee standpoint. And he also had a big problem with the judging, even going so far as to openly disagree with some decisions that went his way and apologize to the fans when he felt he had been “given” a decision that he hadn’t really won, and offering his “robbed” opponent an immediate rematch.

PRIDE was definitely biased
It wasn’t scripted, but a lot of those refs were crooked as hell. The fight Newfie mentioned is a classic example. Rampaged his ass off to get the fight where he wanted it and then the ref immediately stood him up, giving Wandy a yellow card for stalling, but giving him a get-out-of-jail-free card at the same time. The refs, judges, (and their Yakuza bosses) definitely favored certain fighters, and gave unfair advantages in a lot of situations, but Wandy still knocked the shit out of most of those guys.
I think the big difference between the performance of the PRIDE legends then and now is due to 1) Enforcement of substance rules. 2) Cages favor wrestlers, ring ropes handicap them. 3) Wear-n-tear. The epic wars in PRIDE (and the substances that inspired them) take a cumulative toll on the body.

Chael claims that the fact that he hit Anderson 300 times means he won the fight vs. the 8 seconds Anderson had his legs around his neck. He even said that in his home town, he would be considered the winner.
That’s absurd! In a real fight, Silva would have killed him (literally) as he was chocked unconscious. I’m not arguing for death matches, but to say a leg choke is an undeserving way to win is ridiculous. He lost. I was rooting for him, but he lost. He tapped.
